You can write up your blog entries using Microsoft Office Word 2007 and then send them directly to selected online blog sites just like live writer and its very easy too.

Create and publish your post from MS Word 2007

Just follow these steps to write effective and impressive Post:

  1. Click Start, then New, then New Blog Post, then Create.03-Apr-09 11-43-12 PM
  2. A new document opens with the Blog template applied, and the Blog Post tab becomes visible.

  3. In the body of the document, click the text that says Enter Post Title Here and then type a new title for your blog post.
  4. Type your blog entry in the blank area in the body of the document.
  5. Click Publish on the Blog Post tab. The first time you post to your blog, the Register a Blog Account window opens. Click Register Now.

    Note If your blog provider is not listed you can choose Other, but in that case you will need to know some deeply technical information (such as the URL for the provider’s API, which may not even be available for that provider).

  7. Click the Picture Options button on the New Account window to tell Word where to upload photos. My WordPress account supports the upload of photos so I just left My blog provider as the default and then clicked OK.

  8. Click OK on the New Account window. Word connects to the blog using the information you supplied, and the a message confirms that the connection was successful.Choosing a blog provider from the New Blog Account window
  9. Now that the connection has been established, from this point forward you can click Publish on the Blog Post tab to publish your blog entries. After the blog entry has been posted a note is added to your Word document, as shown here.

We can also confirm that the blog entry, including the photo, were posted successfully to the site by viewing it in the browser.

Edit an existing blog post

One of the great things about blogging with Word is that you can save your entries offline by simply saving the Word files on your computer. When you open the files again, a note at the top of the page tells you when it was posted. Just click the Open Existing button on the Blog Post tab, and a list of all of the posts is shown.

Click the title for the post you want to edit and then click OK. The post opens in Word. Make your edits and then click Publish on the Blog Post menu and the post is then updated on your blog site. Super fast and easy!
